Women Serving God
The Biblical Story for the Contemporary Church
January 22-April 7
John Mark Hicks and Mark Manassee will lead a discussion of biblical texts and contemporary applications that focuses on how the biblical story portrays woman as servants of God. The class will meet in Room 201E.
They will conduct the class in a dialogical format that will include occasional panels representing varying perspectives. They hope to engender peaceful and constructive dialogue in a way that represents concerns present in the Woodmont Hills community of faith.
The topics of women in Israel and women in the ministry of Jesus are missing from this series because they were covered in the Sunday Morning series. Those materials are available on this website as well.
