Anchors for the Soul: Trusting God in the Storms of Life is now available from College Press Publishing Company as part of their small group study series.
It is designed as a small group or Bible class study book on the topic of enduring suffering and helping sufferers.
I am often asked, "What do you say to sufferers?" or "How can we help sufferers?" or "How do we comfort sufferers?" or "What enabled you to endure your suffering?" This 100 page booklet addresses these questions in the context of biblical models and group discussion.
The anchors are: God loves, listens, understands, reigns and wins. There are also practical helps for how to speak to and comfort sufferers.
